Weight Watchers

So I have decided to jump into the world of Weight Watchers. I have almost been married a year, and with that year has come a happy little 20 pounds. Yes, I know, judge away.. Who gains 20 pounds in a year. Well I have decided that I must get control. Although I do not plan to have a baby anytime soon the thought of an "accident" scares the crap out of me, simply because of gaining another 40 pounds on top of the 20 I've already gained. So tomorrow night, I will be headed to the local weight watchers meeting. I'm pretty excited about it to tell you the truth. I have researched a lot of awesome WW recipes to try, and Its nice to know I don't really have to give up anything. So go ahead blog world, share your WW success, advice, recipes, failures, etc. I want to hear them. I will try to keep you updated weekly with my results. This should be good accountability.

Love it or Hate it?

So while everyone in the blog world is still getting to know me, there's one thing you should know. I have a serious love/hate addiction with Diet Coke. Diet Coke is my go to beverage of choice, it is my partner in crime, Where I go Diet Coke must follow. I can not imagine my days without Diet Coke, it is the first thing I go to when I wake up in the mornings. Who needs coffee when there is Diet Coke? Sometimes I may only have one a day, but most days I have at least three. Oh, and not to mention the cute new cans right now with the heart...LOVE IT!

Now onto the hate side. Yes, I know Diet Coke is bad for me! Yes, I know Diet Coke is probably what causes the awful headaches I have weekly. However, every time I have tried to quit drinking Diet Coke the side effects are even worse. I would love to hear some amazing, positive, life changing stories from those of you who have quit drinking Diet Coke. Maybe it could be motivation for me. Right now though, I don't see it leaving my life anytime soon.

Where are you going on vacation?

Lets admit it, the summer is just not complete without a beach vacation! Where are YOU going this summer? I always love to hear of new vacation ideas, so tell me your family traditions. Last summer hubs and I honeymooned here.

Lots of people have blogged negative things about Sandal resorts however, we were very, very pleased with the resort in Antigua! We would definitely go back. I would like to try out some of the other Sandal Resorts as well. This year we decides to stay in the country and vacation at one of our favorite beaches, Destin, Fl. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that the nasty oil spill will not hit the area! I have been going to Destin every since I was a little kid and I love it more and more each year! We love to spend lots of time at Seaside as well. So tell me about your summer vacations, and I would love to hear any food, shopping, etc recommendations in the Destin area.

New to the Blog world

For quiet some time I have been a lurker to the blogging world. Over and over I have said that I would start to blog and just never got around to it. Well I finally did, and I am excited about getting my site up and going. Please bare with me as I figure this whole "blog" thing out. Any tips, hints, suggestions are greatly appreciated :)! I will start off by telling you a little bit about my self. I am twenty something girl from the South.
